Adam Benton, PhD, Child Psychologist, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
I conduct psychological evaluations and provide treatment to children, teens, and young adults ranging in age from birth to mid-twenties. I primarily utilize a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to counseling and strive to promote overall physically and mentally healthy lifestyles. My goal is to create an emotionally safe climate where children and families can experience acceptance and warmth as they explore new skills, mindsets, and ways of navigating life. I strive to empower parents and strengthen family ties by including family members and providing parenting support and coaching as needed. My specialty areas include the evaluation and treatment of High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and childhood trauma, such as abuse, loss, or other overwhelming events.
